What to Expect
Testing/Evaluation Day. The first day of camp involves testing of the physical attributes required to excell in most sports. Included in this testing is an NFL style combine workout. Athletes will be tested in 5 areas: 40yd dash, agility shuttle, vertical leap, standing long jump, and bench press for reps. Additionally, all athletes will be tested on muscle endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance on the following day.
Olympic Lifting/Strength Training.
All campers will be instructed in the proper progessions for learning the 2 olympic lifts as well as how these two lifts can improve sports performance. Our certified strength coaches and lifters will aslo instruct and improve your technique on other exercises that are commonly used in athletic weight programs such as the bench press, squat, front squat, push press, lunge, step-up, and more.
Speed Enhancement
USATF athletes and NFL players will show you the drills and techniques used to improve speed. Including, overspeed training, bullet-belt/shute training, ballistic/plyometric training, and more.
StrongMan Camp Finale
Competition is the name of the game. Coaches love athletes to be ultimate competitors. Our end of camp competition will test your ability to push your body to the limits. Intensity in your sports performance drills and in your weight training will determine how much you improve. This competition will "stoke-the-fire" of intensity within you.
